Get Your Paper Work in Order
Provide a picture of yourself, proof of identity (e.g. Scanned copy of passport), and driving licence if applicable,. Medical certificate, police checks, and two references (personal and work/university/college) should be provided in English. Tell us Something about You
The more you can paint a picture of who you are, what you are like as a person, your interests and personality, the more likely families will be able to appreciate what you have to offer. Tell us about your family, your home, friends, child care experience, current jobs, hopes and dreams.
Don’t Just say “I like Children!”
Tell us what motivates you to work with children, and how you think you can fit in with English family life. Do you have any special talents? Do you like to cook? What subjects interest you? Remember, there are many people who want to be Au Pairs - your application needs to stand out.
