The first thing to note is that Rainbow Au Pairs is not an internet portal site. You may have registered with these types of service before. The problem with them is that they require both families and Au Pairs to make contact with each other, without really knowing what each party wants from each other. Potential Au Pairs often find that they need to spend a lot of time talking to different families before getting a placement. Of course, if your English is not very good, or you are not very confident, the whole process can be unpleasant.
We are an Au Pair agency. The difference is that we act on the behalf of families having spoken to them and really understood their needs. That means candidates who register with us are then matched with the families we think are the best fit. We interview candidates and vet them, so that families feel more confident. At the same time, Rainbow Au Pairs will only represent families who we feel are likely to treat Au Pairs with respect and kindness.
So the process is all about people.
The second reason why you should consider Rainbow Au Pairs is the level of support we provide. We offer help and advice from the very beginning, whether it is helping you to register, getting the necessary application and documents together, helping you select the right family, or interview preparations. We are also on hand to answer queries, or help overcome any problems you may encounter once you are placed with a family.
Lastly, we put new placements in touch with other Au Pairs we have placed in the same area, so that you can rely on help, advice and potential new friendships. We hope all the Au Pairs we place are happy, and we try our best to make their experience as enjoyable as it can be. Rainbow arranges regular social gatherings, to introduce Au pairs to others in the area.
